Nigerian music sensation, Asake has secured a notable victory at the 26th MOBO Awards, clinching the esteemed title of Best African Music Act.

The prestigious awards ceremony, which unfolded on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, made history by holding its proceedings at the Utilita Arena Sheffield in Sheffield, United Kingdom, for the first time.

Asake's triumph was particularly notable given the stiff competition from a roster of esteemed artists including Adekunle Gold, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Davido, Libianca, Rema, Tyla, Uncle Waffles, and Wizkid.
