Asake becomes the most streamed artist of the year on Boomplay in 2023
Boomplay's recently released 2023 Recap List has positioned hitmaker Asake as the most streamed artist of the year.
His album Mr. Money With the Vibe secured the second spot for the Most Streamed Album, following Davido's Timeless.
Asake, who gained mainstream recognition in 2022 with the hit single Omo Ope, continued his meteoric rise in 2023 with the release of his highly successful sophomore album, Work of Art. The album featured hit singles like 2:30 and Amapiano, the latter earning a nomination for Best African Performance at the 2024 Grammys.
