2022 has just been the year for singer Asake and what better way to cap it up than receiving your first international award nomination.

Asake International Award
Asake

Asake has been having arguably one of the most successful years in 2022, from a record deal with YBNL to his first EP, first album and now his first international award nomination.

The talented singer Asake received his first international award nomination at the MOBO Awards, an international award that recognizes black excellence. The 'Mr. Money With The Vibe' singer received his first international nomination in the category of the Best African Music Act alongside top artists such as Burna Boy, Tems, Fireboy DML, Rema and so on.

The full list of nominees was confirmed on Friday, November 11, 2022, and this category would be a fan-voted category as the winner would not be confirmed till the 30th of November, 2022. It is, however, uncertain if the singer will perform at the event, but we can hope for this.
