Amaarae submits 'Fountain Baby' album for Grammy consideration

In an exciting turn of events, Amaarae, the talented Ghanaian-American singer-songwriter, has officially submitted her Grammy consideration banner ahead of the highly anticipated 2024 Grammy Awards.

This bold move follows in the footsteps of fellow artists Rema and Ayra Starr, who recently unveiled their own Grammy consideration banners.

Amaarae writes, “l am very excited to share that my sophomore album, Fountain Baby, and songs off it, are up for nomination consideration at this year's Grammys. It's been an incredibly exciting journey and I'm glad to know that the record has resonated with so many from around the world. Thank you to my team of musicians, creatives, management and partners who've supported me in the creation and delivery of this album as well as to my fans who've supported me and my music since day one (sic).”

Born Ama Serwah Genfi, Amaarae has made a name for herself in the music industry with her distinctive blend of pop, R&B, afrobeats, and alté music. She first gained widespread recognition with her 2020 album, THE ANGEL YOU DON’T KNOW.

For this year’s Grammy consideration, Amaarae has submitted her most recent album, Fountain Baby, a project that has garnered significant attention and praise from fans and music critics alike.
