Amaarae Slams Moliy Over 'Sad Girlz Luv Money' Song Credit Accusation

Amaarae debunked Moliy's claim that she wrote 80% of the original song and was not given credit for the remix.

Ghanaian singer, songwriter and performer Ama Serwah Genfi, popularly known as Amaarae, has slammed another Ghanaian act, known as Moliy, over credit accusations for their smash tune 'Sad Girl Luv Money'.

Moliy, who was a featured artist on the song, went to her twitter page on March 6th, 2022 to claim that she contributed, wrote, and performed 80% of the original song and also went on to claim that she was removed from the remix as the song "grew more popular". In her lengthy tweet, Moliy went on to say she is yet to receive any revenue from the song.

However, Amaarae, in a lengthy twitter post, slammed Moliy as regards the accusations, calling it a slap in the face when all she tried to do was share an opportunity with a fellow Ghanaian act by putting her on the song and letting her shine. Amaarae went on to claim that Moliy's team had ensured that they blocked all sources of revenue that the song could make.
