The competition is structured as a knockout (single-elimination) tournament, featuring 64 of the most influential Afrobeats artists across two groups (Group A and Group B). Each round will see artists paired in one-on-one matchups, with the winner advancing to the next round and the loser being eliminated. Here’s how the competition will unfold round by round:

Round 1: The Initial Showdown

  • Participants: 64 artists (32 per group)
  • Matchups: 32 one-on-one contests
  • Objective: Artists must win their match to move on to the next round.
  • Outcome: 32 artists (16 from each group) advance to Round 2, and 32 are eliminated.

Round 2: The Sweet 32

  • Participants: 32 artists (16 per group)
  • Matchups: 16 one-on-one contests
  • Objective: Winners of each contest move forward.
  • Outcome: 16 artists (8 from each group) move on to Round 3, while the other 16 are knocked out.

Round 3: The Sweet 16 (Quarterfinals)

  • Participants: 16 artists (8 per group)
  • Matchups: 8 one-on-one contests
  • Objective: Survive this crucial round to progress to the semifinals.
  • Outcome: 8 artists (4 from each group) make it to Round 4.

Round 4: The Super 8 (Semifinals)

  • Participants: 8 artists (4 per group)
  • Matchups: 4 one-on-one contests
  • Objective: Secure a spot in the final round for a chance at glory.
  • Outcome: 4 artists (2 from each group) advance to the semifinals.

Round 5: The Big 4 (Semifinals)

  • Outcome: The 2 winners (1 from each group) proceed to the final showdown.

The Grand Final: The Ultimate Showdown

  • Participants: 2 finalists (1 from each group)
  • Matchup: 1 epic one-on-one contest
  • Objective: Outshine the competition and be crowned the Afrobeats Rumble 2024 Champion.

  2. Vote for Your Favorite Artist: Once you are on the NotJustOk's Instagram stories, you will see the current round's matchups. Click on your favorite artist's profile to cast your vote. Fans can only vote once per matchup, so choose wisely!
  3. Keep Track of Voting Deadlines: Each round will have a 24-hour voting window, so make sure to vote before the deadline. Voting results will be announced after the deadline, with live updates available on the website and across social media platforms.
