3 exciting things fans should expect from Davido in 2024

King of Afrobeats Davido has revealed some of his plans for 2024. Davido has kept fans on their toes and many are excited about his upcoming plans.

The King of Afrobeats released his much-anticipated single on the Billboard X Honda stage. He teased the song in 2023 with his timeless album but never released it. He collaborated with Lila Ike and both released Flex My Soul. In a behind-the-scenes video titled "Davido Welcomes All to His World of Music Honda Stage x Billboard" shared by Billboard, Davido reminisces about his musical journey.

Davido also granted a mini interview where he revealed his 2024 plans. Big things are headed his way and many are excited, especially after his successful Timeless Album and Grammy nominations.

  • Continuation of Timeless Tour

Davido revealed that he would be going on more Tours in the later parts of 2024. His upcoming tours will be starting in April. The megastar will be performing in New York, Canada, and Florida. In addition, Tayc, Ding Dong, and Tony Mix will also be joining him on stage. In 2023, Davido brought his Timeless Tour home. He performed in Lagos and Abuja for Christmas.

  • Brand New Album

During his live stream with American streamer Kai Cenat, Davido revealed that his new album is finished. He also revealed that it consists of 15 songs and has six artist features. This would mark his fifth album. He has already released many collaborations between January and March 2024. He featured on Kizz Daniel's Twe Twe remix and Logos Olori's Easy On Me.

Davido took viewers behind the scenes into his journey into music. The King of Afrobeat cited his mother's frequent parties as an early influence. "My mom used to throw a lot of parties when I was young, and from there, it kind of formed into me loving music", Davido recalled. He gave fans an in-depth backstory of his promising career. He started as a producer before venturing into a solo artist. He has promised more documentaries will be available soon. He will also be launching the DMW in the United States.
