Many, if not all would agree with me that every conversation about Afrobeats cannot hold water without placing Wizkid as an integral part of the movement. The Nigerian international superstar debuted in the last decade with the acclaimed classic, Superstar album and has since grown, without missing a step, to become one of the poster boys of Afrobeats.

With four sublime albums to his name, Wizkid further decorates his catalog as he adds another, totaling five. A glorious season it is for Afrobeats and its listeners as Wizkid finally graces the scene with his long-awaited body of work, the More Love Less Ego album.

Recall that Wizkid made the first announcement about his new album back in May this year. However, the fans were not so sure about its release because you never really know when to expect new music from Wizkid given the amount of time it took to release his 4th studio album Made In Lagos - approximately three years. Now, the gap has been drastically reduced, it took Wizkid 15 months to prepare the More Love Less Ego album following the release of the MIL deluxe edition back in August 2021.

Pathing ways for the More Love Less Ego, Wizkid previously tested the waters with two experimental singles off the album, Bad To Me and Money & Love. Although both tracks have not been met with the best of reviews for a Wizkid standard so far, they've managed to do impressively well on the charts.

The More Love Less Ego album counts at a wholesome 13 tracks with guest appearances from Skepta, Don Toliver, Ayra Starr, Naira Marley, Skillibeng, and Shenseea. For the production, P2J and a list of professional beatmakers were involved.

Expecting a deluxe edition? Further information will be communicated later.
