Wizkid Day in Minnesota is a big deal

Every October 6th, the State of Minnesota, USA, celebrates “Wizkid Day” to honor Afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known worldwide as Wizkid. This unique celebration began in 2018 when Minnesota's Governor Mark Dayton declared October 6th an official day dedicated to Wizkid’s achievements and global influence.
