Kenyan multi-talented indie pop musician and performing artiste Idd Aziz has released a new video "Nipende Mimi". Written and performed by Idd Aziz, the song is produced by Jesse Bukindu.
Nipende Mimi is an authentic Kenyan sound, a feel good song with a very romantic allure that resonates with anyone who has ever had a crush on someone. Speaking about the release, Idd says: “This song is very close to my heart. It’s a gift to my loyal fans for their massive support over the years. I hope they’ll enjoy the video.’’

Idd Aziz is one of Kenya’s top percussionists and drummers. He doubles up as a leader of his own band and Sauti Sol band’s percussionist. He has played with the Latin Grammy winner Dj Panco and has been jamming with the famous boy band Charanga Habanara. Idd Aziz has performed extensively on tours across Africa, Europe and America with Sauti Sol on their Live and Die in Afrika Tour. He worked with the iconic Whitney Houston before he decided to come back to Kenya and focus on his own music career.
