Cheche Visuals Deleted From Youtube Over Copyright Claims

The famous "Cheche" music video by Tanzania's quickly rising star Zuchu featuring Diamond Platnumz has been taken down from Youtube.

According to the streaming platform, the visual was deleted following copyright claims made by user Tony Anthony.

A week earlier, Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna and her team accused Zuchu of copying Spanish lyrics 'Yo te quero tantete’ from one of her tracks, "Ride" with Khaligraph Jones.

Zuchu however clarified the matter in an interview, stating that she did not copy the lyrics further explaining that it is a common phrase and she felt that they the lyrics aligned with with the track's beat.

The hit collaboration had already garnered over 2 million views before it was pulled down however the WCB team announced that they are working to restore the official music video.
