Heavyweight singers and artists from Tanzania Zuchu and Rayvanny have once again made the Bongo Fleva music industry proud after winning big at the 2022 AFRIMMA Awards.
Zuchu and Rayvanny who are Diamond Platnumz's proteges made their fans smile after bagging awards at the 2022 AFRIMMA Awards which took place in Dallas, Texas in the United States Of America. The prestigious show intended to award and recognize different African creatives across the continent.
Rayvanny who is the first and only Tanzanian to win a BET Award took home the category for Best East Africa Male artist winning against Kenya's Khaligraph Jones and Otile Brown, Uganda's Eddy Kenzo, and one of the most awarded artists in Africa, Diamond Platnumz.
Zuchu who is also the most subscribed female artist in Africa on YouTube won the category of Best East African female artist where she took home the award against Nandy, Maua Sama, Femi One, and Kenya's Jovial. With this win, Zuchu becomes the fourth female Tanzanian artist to win the AFRIMMA after Lady Jaydee, Nandy, and the now-retired, Vanessa Mdee.
