When asked what this would mean for Rayvanny and his contract with WCB, Diamond assured the listeners that none of the artists under Wasafi Records are restricted from expanding their businesses.
Rayvanny's record label is expected to a sub-label under Wasafi records. Diamond compared the scenario to American rapper Drake who has his own studio Young Money while still under Cash Money.
“Of course kama Cash Money kuna Young Money kuna Oval…Iyo sasa ina maana kila mtu ana nafasi na mi naambiaga watu tuwe tunawaza nje ya box. Tuwe tunatengeza fursa tofauti…”
Translation: Of course just like Cash Money there is Young Money, there is Oval. Now that makes sure that everyone has the opportunity and I tell people that we should think outside the box. We should create different opportunities.
Diamond also aired that Rayvanny’s record label will provide great opportunities for young upcoming artists to nurture their talent and receive exposure from the best in the industry.
