Marioo Rocks With Paula Kajala In His New "Lonely" Video | WATCH

Tanzanian singer and songwriter Marioo has finally unveiled the music video for his reigning hit single “Lonely” featuring Tanzanian socialite Paula Kajala. 

The "Lonely" video is the first visual feast from Marioo in 2023 and came along with the highly anticipated “The Kid You Know Deluxe” album launched at Warehouse Masaki on Friday. 

The video tells the story of Marioo and Paula, who took the role of university students. Marioo gave his phone number to Paula only for later to admit on the phone that he feels “Lonely” without her despite filling the streets with dancers performing the Abbah - produced Amapiano sound.

The video is directed by Director Kenny who also directed Marioo’s “Naogopa” which became the second most Tanzanian-viewed music video in 2022 and “Dear Ex” a blockbuster that earned a nomination for the Best Music Video Category at the Tanzania Music Awards 2023.
