BET award-winning artist and Nigerian superstar Davido is set to rock Nairobi this coming weekend, Saturday November 24th at Uhuru Gardens for the "30 Billion World Tour Concert" - Kenya edition. This will mark the final leg of the world tour which has so far been in more than 30 countries.
Also set to perform at the concert are Kenyan heavyweights, The Kansoul and P-Unit alongside celebrated top DJs: DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Protege, DJ Ace King and DJ Seme who will be on the decks from 5pm till dawn. MC’s for the night will top media personalities Amina and Jalango.
Regular tickets are going for Ksh3, 000 advance and Ksh3, 500 at the gate, while the VIP section is Ksh10,000. The VVIP tickets are going for Kshs25, 000. Tickets are available on ticketsasa.com
Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) group has collaborated with Kenya’s premier entertainment solutions company KCARL Entertainment for the event. The Nigerian superstar is also scheduled for a meet and greet party with his fans before hitting the stage on Saturday.
Speaking about the concert, KCARL Entertainment Events Manager Tunde Daniel said, “Having one of Africa’s bestselling artists come to Kenya goes a long way to prove that Nairobi is the ultimate party destination in East Africa and entertainment hub of the region."
Davido 30 Billion Concert has been sponsored by Koroga Festival and Radio Africa Group as the official media partner through Kiss 100, Classic FM, Capital, Radio Jambo, and Star Newspaper, Songa by Safaricom. Other partners include Coca-Cola, Schweppes and Taxify. Davido’s performance is set to be the party starter for Koroga Festival fans.
