Tems talks about her debut album, says it’s 100% ready

In her interview with Cut Magazine, Tems shears a lot about who she is, how she makes music to feel and how ready her upcoming album is.

28 year old RnB artist, Tems began her missile- like career in 2018 with the release of Mr Rebel. Since 2018, she has achieved global acclaim and worked with top artists like Wizkid, Drake, Rihanna and even Beyoncé.

Tems has also won a Grammy, a Golden Globe nomination, and a Billboard record for her song Free Mind, which spent 17 weeks at No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. She has the most billboard entries for a Nigerian artist with a total of 5, alongside Afro-fusion artist, Burna Boy.

Tems in her interview announced that her “project does not yet have an official name or release date, but it’s “basically done”; she wrote 100 percent of the songs and produced many of them herself.” This basically confirms that she is ready to release the album but it needs a name and release date. All fans can do is wait for her to announce the release.
