Top 20 Ghana Songs of October 2019

We’re right in the middle of the last quarter of the year. With less than 2 months until 2019 clocks out, the afrobeat scene in West Africa is still picking up steam.

The month of October saw lots of releases from their A-list acts and emerging acts alike, including solo hits and several solid Ghana-Naija collaborations like this one by Joey B and BOJ and this one by M.anifest and Simi.

Here, we detail 20 of the best music releases from Ghana during the month of October 2019. Check them out below.

Shatta Wale - Borjor

Shatta Wale delivered a monster hit with this one, trust me! Halfway through the month, and in celebration of his birthday, he dropped this surprise release titled "Borjor". He drops the dancehall for a minute and shows his skills in 100% afrobeats. And I must say, he killed it!

Joey B ft. BOJ - Waste No Time

Rapper Joey B impressed with this smooth smooth tune featuring our very own BOJ. He kept it simple with the bars in this easy going bop. Combined with BOJ's signature vocals, the duo cooked up the perfect Ghana-Naija collaboration for the approaching festive season.

M.anifest ft. Simi - Big Mad

In the run to his upcoming EP/album (he has refused to state which, just calling it a project) The Gamble, Ghanaian rapper M.anifest dished out this love-turned-sour rap ballad, featuring our very own Simi, making for an excellent collaboration, complete with pristine visuals to match. This shortly following his feature on Burnaboy's album, M Dot is on quite the run.

Cina Soul - Killi Mi

Ghanaian soul singer Cina Soul dropped this beautiful highlife tune with a message tackling domestic violence. Another product of her Universal Music Nigeria deal, "Killi Mi" is yet another example of her elite musicality, coupled with a movie-like official video.

Sarkodie ft. Idris Elba & Donaeo  - Party & Bullshit

The Ghanaian rap king Sarkodie linked up with British actor Idris Elba as well as British singer Donaeo to deliver this joint titled "Party & Bullshit". The song is a bit out of the box for the elite rapper, but it's a smash hit nonetheless.
