Like we all know, production plays a massive role in music. It is often said that many artists can't make good songs without the input of a producer. Kiddominant is easily one of the most talented and successful Nigerian producers. He recently signed a new music licensing deal with Sony Music West Africa.

The 27 year old music producer is well-known for making worldwide hit songs like Fall, Fela In Versace. Kiddominant has since worked with various artists including Davido, Wizkid, AKA, Beyonce, Mr. Eazi, Mayorkun, and many others. He is also a good songwriter and helps with musical direction.

Kiddominant gained prominence when he produced Orezi's Rihanna. He started playing instruments from a very tender age and later developed an inclination for disc jockeying. This saw him play at parties and family gatherings. Kiddominant would later create a group ‘3ple3’ alongside two friends which led him to learn how to produce beats with Fruity Loops

Kiddominant signed a music publishing deal with SONY/ATV sometime in 2017. He has had huge credits to his name including songwriting and production credits on Davido's Fall (which went platinum in South Africa and charted at number 13 on Billboard Top 100), Fela In Versace (which was certified double platinum by RISA). Earlier this year, there were talks that Kiddominant featured on a song, Nefertiti, on which Beyonce features Rihanna. The song is supposedly on Beyonce's oncoming seventh studio album, B7.

He is currently working on a new studio album, One Africa, which seems to have been inspired by the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians. He revealed that the project features 8 African acts. The project is soon to drop.

This new music licensing deal with Sony Music opens a new chapter in Kiddominant's life. One of the executives at Sony Music West Africa, Sir Banko, mentioned that the label is fully committed to the cause and will be holding no resources back.
