5 African artists who have made waves in the gaming world

Major League DJz

Major League DJz, the South African duo comprising twin brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere, is renowned for their energetic dance tracks. They fuse kwaito, amapiano, and Afrobeats with American hip-hop influences.

The duo, who grew up in Boston before returning to South Africa, initially made their mark as party organizers before transitioning to successful DJs. They emerged as key figures in the new-age Kwaito movement, with notable releases like “Mine For The Night,” “Margaret,” and “La Maluka.”
