The Unstoppable was 2face Idibia’s first independent album after splitting with Kennis Music amicably. The album was released in December of 2008 and there were some skeptics who felt like 2face could not remain relevant with a 3rd album especially because he was now going at the album without Kennis music. Fortunately, the rumors of an R-Kelly feature on the album created more anticipation for the release of The Unstoppable album.

After the album got released and we all listened to the R-Kelly featured and produced song, Flex, we went ahead to go through the album and there were a few stand out tracks such as Outside;  a beautiful love song, I Appreciate It; deep song of gratitude to God, family and his fans.

The lead single that sold the album and resonated with the masses was Enter The Place featuring Sound Sultan. Other notable singles are the fun “I Sing” single and the soft rock inspired “Fly

Overall, many were expecting more from 2baba and that is exacty what he gave them on the International Edition of The Unstoppable
