Teni Entertainer was a surprise inclusion in our 2017 list of artists to watch out for with only one single under her belt at the time. The singer went on to justify her inclusion during the calendar year.

Popular for her Instagram freestyle, the singer transitioned from a social media sensation to a budding superstar in 2017 with the release of her viral single - “Fargin”. The single helped get her signed to Dr. Dolor Entertainment and she has since put out two visuals since joining the imprint. Teni without a shadow of doubt is a star in the making, and she should further cement her place in the music scene this year.

Squeeze Tarela is no newbie in the music industry, in fact the dancehall act has been on the Notjustok radar since as far back as 2012 when he released his first body of work “High Voltage” which was hosted by the veteran disc jockey - DJ Humility.

Squeeze went underground for a while but resurfaced in 2017 having honed his skills and refined his sound the dancehall act was equipped to take centre stage. He released as many covers as possible for popular singles and he followed that up by dropping two official singles which were well received.

Squeeze Tarela has received accolades from critics, and industry big players alike, if he continues in the same vein it is only a matter of time before he dominates the airwaves.
