David De Dea reacts to Man United's defeat against Hull City

Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea sent a message to the players after they suffered a stunning 2-0 defeat to Hull City.

The Spaniard shared a brief but meaningful message that sparked plenty of debate among supporters. De Gea who spent 12 years at Old Trafford before leaving in 2023, posted on X during the match as fans watched United struggle against the newly.

De Gea posted a nine-word cryptic message while Manchester United trailing late in the game. He wrote:

"It's not how it starts, it's how it ends."

The post quickly gained traction online, with many fans interpreting it as a message of encouragement for his former club despite the disappointing result.

The game was a shocking and painful start for Manchester United in their opening game of the season as Hull City claimed a memorable victory with goals from Semi Ajayi and Nobel Mendy which saw them get their first ever victory over the Red Devils.

The result marked United's first opening-day league loss to a newly promoted side in the Premier League era, increasing pressure after a disappointing performance at Old Trafford.
