Liam Rosenior seeks more time from Chelsea supporters

Chelsea’s head coach Liam Rosenior has asked for more time with Blues depsite the poor run of form in the Premier League.
The Englishman was speaking after the defeat against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge which is the third consecutive defeat for the Blues in the Premier League. Rosenior admitted that his side was below par in the second half despite showing a good first-half performance.
He admitted his side were not good enough in the second half, describing the defeat to Manchester City as part of a worrying pattern in recent weeks. He pointed out that Chelsea failed to deal with key moments, saying they didn’t start well and missed chances to clear their lines, while also acknowledging that the second and third goals came from clear individual errors.
What did Liam Rosenior say after the defeat against Manchester City?
“I’m accountable. This is a group. Our resilience is something we need to improve. It starts with your habits and values. I can't say there was a lack of effort. But there was a lack of confidence in the second half. We have to improve. Even someone as experienced as Pep or Jurgen Klopp had a year to sort things out."
He confirmed that poor game management and avoidable mistakes ultimately cost the team against top-level opposition.
Rosenior admitted Chelsea are currently in a difficult place, with a visible drop in confidence during the second half, but stressed that expectations at the club remain high. He concluded by insisting that matches like this are ones Chelsea must aim to win, even against a title-chasing side like Manchester City.
