Latest update on Kevin De Bruyne's future at Manchester City
The future of Kevin De Bruyne at Manchester City is currently in doubt as the Belgian runs into the final few months of his contract.
The midfield maestro has been injured for most of this season which is one of the reasons why Manchester United have not negotiated a contract renewal with Kevin De Bruyne. City's manager Pep Guardiola was speaking in a pre-match press conference where he was asked about the player's future.
He said,
"I don't know. What I know is that Kevin will decide by himself, like David Silva or others did. I am pretty sure will be honest. He wants to finish here, or this season, or the next one, being at his best."
Kevin De Bruyne also spoke about what the future holds for him at the club.

He said,
I honestly don't know. We will see. I put everything to the side when I got injured. Now I'd rather still get better first and see how I am, and all the rest will come. There will be talks, we’ll see”.
De Bruyne has featured just nine times for City appearances this term but has come on as a substitute in each of City's past three matches as he regains full fitness. The Belgium captain moved to City from Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in 2015 for a fee of £55m.
