Nigerian singer-songwriter and performing artist, Okuomose Osahenoma,  popularly known as Sweet Brown, has been making waves in the underground Nigerian music scene with his unique sound christened "Afro Spiritual Love Sound.” The music is a melodic cocktail of Afro-Pop, Highlife, and R&B.

“Flex,” produced by Mosjay Pro, is an up-tempo track that seamlessly blends smooth percussion, catchy lyrics, and pure energy—a perfect vibe for any playlist. With BMJ Music behind him, Sweet Brown is poised to make an unforgettable impact on the African music scene and connect with fans worldwide.

Born on September 4, 1999, Sweet Brown grew up in a music-loving family in Benin City, Nigeria. From the age of ten, he found his creative voice in the church choir, where his passion for melody and rhythm took root.

Surrounded by an eclectic mix of music at home—from Highlife to Reggae, Jazz to Soul, and Afrobeat to R&B—Sweet Brown began channeling his life experiences, the beauty of nature, and Benin's rich culture into his music.

Driven by a love for harmony and storytelling, young Osahenoma taught himself to play the keyboard and write lyrics inspired by everyday life, gradually developing a voice that is both personal and deeply spiritual.

In 2020, Sweet Brown decided to take his craft to the next level, stepping into the paths carved by African music icons like Fela, Chris Brown, Asa, 2Baba, Wizkid, and Burna Boy. Since then, he’s collaborated with a number of producers and artists, including Topage, Kulboy, and Kapentar, sharpening his style into the soulful fusion of sounds that fans have come to know and love.

"My music is inspired by my journey, by love, by nature, by my country Nigeria, and above all, by the divine gift of love,” he explains. “I believe love is the solution to the challenges humanity faces, which is why I call my music ‘Spiritual Love Sound’—a reminder to be grounded and spread love.”

Exploring themes from love and heartbreak to resilience, African beauty, and unity, Sweet Brown’s lyrics are unfiltered expressions of his soul, crafted to resonate on a spiritual level.
