Former Manchester United pkayer, Anthony Martial, has completed his move to Greek side AEK Athens as a free agent on a three-year deal

The French international move to AEK Athens was announced on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Anthony Martial penned a three-year contract, which would see him stay in Greece until 2027, Martial is expected in Athens.

Anthony Martial has been available in the transfer market as a free agent, with initial reports suggesting a potential move to Brazil amid interest from Flamengo.

Anthony Martial left Machester United due to his inability to live up to the expectations of Erik Ten Hag, which ended his nine years at the club. He scored 90 goals across his United career, but his career at United was hit by different injury concerns, and his final appearance for the club came in December 2023, six months before his exit.

Martial will hope that this move will revitalise his career as he begins his journey in Greece.
