The bond between the duo seems to be increasing by the day, with a recent link-up in Barbados causing a frenzy online.
Nigerian singing diva, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, is currently in the news after videos of herself and global pop star Rihanna surfaced from a festival in Barbados.
Recall that the two met at a Fenty Beauty show in London some time ago, where they seemed cosy with each other and even had a brief conversation that sparked a potential future collaboration. In an update on events, videos have surfaced showing both superstars living up to their best lives at the festival in Rihanna's hometown of Barbados.
With festivals being one of the rich cultures of the Caribbean, the Crop Over festival is a 3-month-long festival of Barbadian music, arts, food, culture, and more. Since its inception in 1974, it has become a yearly event aimed at attracting tourists to the island and keeping the local folk culture alive. The festival usually kicks off in June and runs until the first Monday in August with a grand carnival parade known as Kadooment Day, considered the biggest Caribbean carnival.
