Portable allegedly shades Davido after Atlanta dinner
Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has seemingly called out his senior colleague, Davido, following their recent dinner meeting in Atlanta.
Despite the fun photos and videos that circulated online, Portable's latest remarks suggest all may not be well between the two artists.
In a viral video shared on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Portable criticized an unnamed individual for advising him to sign with Empire instead of Sony Music. He expressed his frustration, emphasizing his ambition to win a Grammy, just like his adviser.
"You are signed to Sony Music but you’re giving me bad advice in America to get signed to Empire & collect advance. The same Grammy you’re chasing is what I’m also chasing," he stated.
Portable's comments have caused a stir online, with many speculating that his remarks were directed at Davido. Recall that Davido had previously taken Portable out for dinner during their time in America, a meeting that had seemed amicable at the time.
