Mauricio Pochettino fuels Chelsea exit rumours with recent statements

Mauricio Pochettino in his latest interviews has fueled statements of a possible exit from Chelsea at the end of the 2023/2024 season.

The recent sequence of interviews held by Mauricio Pochettino as his first season with Chelsea comes to an end has raised more rumours about the uncertainty of his future at the club as it also shows the communication gap that exists between him and the club owners.

In his recent post-match press conference after the victory over Nottingham Forest, Pochettino has cleared the air on the reason behind his statement and what he meant by the words he said.

He said, "I had an honest conversation in the press conference. To clarify, if the owner is happy with my job we can continue. I am always a coach who is thinking long term. All departments must be happy for us to be a good team to compete. I still have one more year in my contract and I am thinking to be here."
