Ice prince announces release date for new album
Ice Prince, the Nigerian rapper known for his unique blend of hip-hop and Afrobeats, has announced the release date for his fourth studio album.
The album is titled Fire and Ice. The artist took to Twitter to share the news, stating that the album will be released on May 3, 2024. Ice Prince, whose real name is Panshak Zamani, has been in the music industry for over a decade, with his debut album Everybody Loves Ice Prince arriving in 2011. His music is characterized by its blend of chilled, exciting hip-hop and colourful, bouncy pop tunes, which have earned him a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim.
The rapper's latest hit single, "Kolo," featuring Oxlade, has been well-received, and he has been hinting at an album drop on social media. Ice Prince is signed to 300 Entertainment, the American label that represents artists such as Young Thug and Megan Thee Stallion, making him the first African artist on the roster.
In a 2021 interview with OkayAfrica, Ice Prince revealed that his next album, Fire and Ice will be a reflection of his persona, which he describes as Fire and Ice. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new music, which promises to showcase the rapper's distinctive style and storytelling abilities.
