Yemi Alade reacts to false allegations laid against her

Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has debunked the viral rumors circulating about her. She said that the rumors were not true and very unfounded.

Once again, Yemi Alade, popularly known as Mama Africa, has made headlines for unsubstantiated rumors. The allegations were suggesting that men have hindered her from receiving awards due to rejected advances. The rumor went on to say that a lot of entertainment executives have requested sex from her in the past with the promises of better opportunities.

Many news agencies and media had carried this rumor despite the fact that there was no evidence of her saying such. No video or picture evidence was provided to back up the claim.

Mama Africa took to her social media to debunk the rumor and insult Nigeria media and blogs as to why they should carry such fake news.

Expressing discontent, she denounced those spreading the rumor, advising them to focus on their own lives. On her Instagram story, she actively labeled the rumor mongers as unintelligent, emphasizing that they fabricated the interview.

She said, “When I read the interview that Yemi Alade recently did, I was like "wow, Yemi Alade don suffer". Mtchww get a job stupid rumour mongers of false news”.
