Jose Mourinho clears the air on reports linking him to Saudi Arabia

The former manager of AS Roma, Jose Mourinho has cleared the air about the reports making the rounds that have linked him to a top club side in Saudi Arabia.

The Portuguese international confirmed in an interview with was reported by a renowned journalist, Fabrizio Romano. According to the statement, Mourinho will not join Al-Shabab as he is waiting for the best opportunity that will motivate him back into coaching.

Mourinho has been linked with top clubs in the Europe since his departure from Roma. However, there is nothing concrete as it concerns the future of the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager.

He spent over two years in the Serie A with Roma leading them a victory in the European Conference League during the 2021/22 season and the Europa League final during the 2022/23 season but lost the game due to poor officiating.
