Newcastle responds to Bayern Munich's bid for Kieran Trippier
Following the reported interest of Bayern Munich in signing Newcastle's right-back Keiran Trippier in the January 2024 transfer window, the premier league side has responded to the inquisition made by the Bundesliga giants.
According to reports from Sky Sports, Newcastle United have reportedly rejected Bayern Munich's bid to sign, Kieran Trippier. Bayern Munich has reportedly turned their attention to Kieran Trippier as they faced difficulties in agreeing on a loan deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Nordi Mukiele. The German club, managed by former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, has been discussing a potential move for the 33-year-old Trippier intensively throughout the week. Trippier has recorded seven assists in 19 Premier League matches for Newcastle this season, but his performance has declined in recent weeks.
It is reported that the Bundesliga side are offering a loan deal with an option to make permanent at the end of the 2023/2024 season. From all indications, Newcastle are not interested in losing an important first-team player during this period of the season.
