Mauricio Pochettino evaluates Chelsea's performance against Brighton

Chelsea Football Club won their third league game of the year at Stamford Bridge following a tense match against Brighton on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

The Blues came into the game off a defeat against Newcastle United at St James' Park. Chelsea opened the scoring in the first 20 minutes of the game before Conor Gallagher picked up his second yellow card towards the end of the first half.

The manager of Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino reacted to the victory during his post-match press conference.

He said,

"Why 14-15 minutes extra time? We are a young team. We need to leave this kind of experience with red cards. With time we're gonna improve and avoid this kind of situation. We have talent, we just need time. I’m sure we will get there."
