Tonto Dikeh wants to help SolidStar get better

After his brother draws the public’s attention to SolidStar’s illness, Tonto Dikeh offers her assistance.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh took to her Instagram page to ask for ways to contact singer SolidStar’s family. 

This comes after a viral video by SolidStar’s brother. In the video, SolidStar is shown roaming the streets and yelling in a loud voice at thin air. His brother used the opportunity to tell the surprised public that his brother was wrestling with his mental health and needed urgent assistance.

As soon as she saw the post, Tonto Dikeh went to her Instagram page, calling on the singer’s management or family to point her in his direction so she could assist.

Why is Tonto Dikeh doing this?

In her post, Tonto Dikeh shared how she and SolidStar go way back. She said that he was a big part of the reason why she kicked off her music career back in 2015. According to her, he selflessly encouraged her and supported her fledgling music career while asking for nothing in exchange.

Tonto Dikeh gave music a try back in 2013 and even got signed to D'banj's record label. However, she discontinued her music career when the audience found her more amusing than entertaining.

In the post, she says, ”How can I get through to Solidstar’s management or family?

That’s my street blood mehn. He was ready to sacrifice it all for me to do well musically. Na me no just hear word! He never charged a penny, never get a gift, not even a hug. Such a selfless human.”

She also expresses her sadness at seeing her former friend roam the streets and fight mental health issues. She goes on to comment on how it is both lonely at the top and lonely when you’re no longer at the top.
