The shocking wages of Mo Salah if he decides to make a move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad instead of remaining at Liverpool.

The football world was stunned to discover that Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad had made a bid for Egypt and Liverpool forward Mo Salah, which would make him the highest-paid football star in football history.

It was reported that Al-Ittihad had offered Mo Salah a deal that would see him earn 1.25 million pounds per week and 65 million pounds per year; these figures do not include bonuses he would receive if he completes the move. This would make the captain of Egypt and former CAF Men's Player of the Year the highest-paid football star ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Saudi Arabian side has offered Liverpool a three-year contract for Egyptian, which the club reportedly rejected. Mohamed Salah has, however, not said anything about his future at the club.

Losing Mo now might prove detrimental for Klopp and the Anfield side, as he remains an integral figure in the squad. It is uncertain if he would follow in the footsteps of former Liverpool stars Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to make a move to the league, which is slowly catching the attention of football fans.
