Chelsea FC set to open transfer talks for a top striker

Representatives of Chelsea Football Club and Juventus are reportedly set to meet to discuss the possibility of sealing a deal Dusan Vlahovic and Romelu Lukaku before thdow closes.

The Blues are in desperate need of a striker going into the 2023/24 football season. Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that both clubs have scheduled new round of meeting to discuss the possibility of a swap deal.

The Serie A side are currently in a desperate need to balance their books following the financial crisis that the club is facing. According to reports they are asking Chelsea to pay €40 million plus Romelu Lukaku to be able to get Dusan Vlahovic.

However, this deal still falls down to the final decision of Chelsea's head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, if he interested in the signing of the Serbian International. He scored 10 goals in 27 games for Juventus last season ( 2022/23).
