Friendly Match: Chelsea vs Borussia Dortmund ( Watch Highlights)

Chelsea Football Club ended their 2023 preseason campaign with a game against Borussia Dortmund in Chicago.

Both teams shared the spoils of the game by scoring two late goals in the final ten minutes of the entertaining game. However, Chelsea came out with a heart break from the game following an injury to Christopher Nkunku in the first 20 minutes of the game.

Both teams failed to create a chance in the final third of the pitch because of the dreadful pitch. The match was played at Soccer Field in the Windy City in the early hours of Thursday, August 3, 2023.

Marius Wolf gave Dortmund the lead in the 80th minutes but young striker Mason Burstow ensured Mauricio Pochettino remained unbeaten in his first pre-season in charge of the Blues by scoring a late header on the 89th minute.

Chelsea's next game is against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday, August 13,2023.
