Nigerian-American singer & actress Kate Odulukwe releases a new song and video of “Caravan” which exceptionally fuses Afrobeats with Pop music.

Influenced by artists like Ayra Starr, Ckay, and Nonso Amadi, “Caravan” has an irresistible rhythm and sounds like something that could be heard on the radio. At the same time, Kate brings a unique and refreshing vibe to the tune, and captures listeners with catchy lyrics and seductive vocals.

The song explores how powerful intimacy can be, and how the feelings that come with that kind of connection can feel otherworldly. An Igbo phrase briefly sung in the song is “Achọrọm gị”, which translates to “I want you.” The song as a whole passionately embodies that phrase.

Kate is not a stranger to mesmerizing listeners with her genre-bending combinations of Afrobeats, R&B and Pop music. In fact, she was declared as “an exciting contribution to the ever-growing Afropop genre,” by WordPlay Magazine, and “effortlessly captivating” by Clout Magazine. Additionally, Kate’s debut EP - Melanin and Melancholy was described as “transcendent” by PopDust Magazine, and she was given praise by the American radio legend Sway Calloway.

The track is a fantastic creative achievement, and will definitely continue to capture the ears and  hearts of listeners worldwide
