Joao Felix reportedly breaks silence on his future at Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid forward player, Joao Felix has stirred the waters at his club after he revealed where he will love to play his football in the future.

The Portuguese international has not been on good terms with the manager of the club, Diego Simeone, since last season ( 2022/23) which saw him join Chelsea on loan during the 2023 January transfer window. Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed exclusively in a tweet that Joao Felix wants to play for Barcelona and that has always been his childhood dream.

"I would love to play for Barça. Barcelona has always been my first choice and I’d love to join Barça. I was always my dream since I was a kid. If it happens, it will be a dream come true for me."

There is so much uncertainty about the Portuguese's future in Madrid and there is a possibility that he might make that switch before the start of the 2023/24 season. He was made to train with the club's youth team recently.

However, some Barcelona supporters have expressed their delight as they hope to see the sensational midfielder crossover to the Camp Nou.
