Manchester United take huge step in Mason Mount's deal

Manchester United quest to bring Mason Mount to Old Trafford ahead of the 2023/24 season has taken a huge step in the positive direction.

Manchester United are ready to submit their third and final bid for the English midfielder. According to reports, the Red Devils are ready to £55 million plus £5 million add-ons for the Chelsea player.

The Red Devils had initially seen two of their bids rejected by Chelsea Football Club. However, there seem to be a twist in the player's future after his agents told the Blues that Mason Mount was not going to sign a contract extension.

Chelsea could be the biggest losers in the deal if they fail to accept this bid by Manchester United because Mount has a year left on his contract and could leave as a free agent at the end of next season.

The Blues could have at least five players leave the club by the end of next week.
