Jose Mourinho Reflects on His Time as Tottenham Manager

The manager of AS Roma, Jose Mourinho has reacted to the decision of Tottenham Hotspur to terminate his contract just a few days before the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

The Portuguese was speaking in an interview where he confirmed that Spurs was the place he did not build any relationship with the club. Jose joined Spurs as a rplacement for Mauricio Pochettino whose contract was terminated because of a series of bad results.

Tottenham is the only club with which I do not have a close bond. Probably because the stadium was empty at the time of Covid and because President Levy didn't let me play the final and win the trophy. But it’s the only club in my life. Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid, Manchester United, all the clubs I feel a connection. I love all of them because I always felt the other way, they also loved me.

Jose will be looking to win the Europa League this season with AS Roma but he must beat Sevilla to achieve this feat. The Portuguese led the Serie A side to winning the Conference League last season.
