First Arrests Made by Spanish Authorities in Relation to Racial Abuse Directed at Vinicius Jr.
The Spanish authorities have made the first three arrests in connection to the racial abuse suffered by Vinicius Jr. in the La Liga match again Valencia.
Following a full backlash from top players, legends and government officials, the Spanish authorities according to BBC world news have made their first three arrests of people from the age of 18 to 21 in connection to the racial abuse faced by Vinicius Jr in the La Liga match against Valencia which was played on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
BBC had reported:
Police in Spain have detained three people in connection with racist abuse directed at the Real Madrid footballer, Vinicius Jr, during a match on Sunday.
The three are aged between 18 and 21, the police said in a message on Twitter.

The Brazil international, who is black, has been subjected to such abuse numerous times this season.
The latest incident, during an away match at Valencia, has sparked outrage in both Spain and Brazil.
The game was paused in the second half as an incensed Vinicius reported opposition fans to the referee.
It was also reported that five people who are fans of Atletico Madrid who had been responsible for the hanging an effigy of Vini Jr from a bridge, were also arrested five months after the incident.
BBC also confirmed this in a statement that also added:
Earlier, Spanish police detained four people suspected of hanging an effigy of Vinicius from a bridge in Madrid in January.
The figure appeared ahead of a match between Real and their rivals in the capital, Atletico.
It was hung by its neck under a banner saying: "Madrid hates Real".
Vinicius Jr and other top officials have all expressed their distaste following the incident and football fans and stars from all around the world have also shown support for the Player.
