Premier League Announce New Date for Arsenal vs Chelsea Fixture

A new date has been announced by the English Premier League for the game between Chelsea and Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The Premier League announced on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023. According to the body, the reason for the postponement was taken after a meeting with the police on security issues in London.

The Premier League fixture between Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC at Emirates Stadium, scheduled to take place on Saturday 29 April at 5.30 pm, will now take place on Tuesday 2 May at 8.00 pm.  The initial scheduling of this match was approved at a 5.30 pm Advisory Group meeting in February. Howev8.00 pm Met Police has now revised its position regarding the kick-off time and requested a further meeting which determined the match had to be rescheduled. We regret the need to move this fixture at late notice and the impact this will have on supporters. The game will remain live on Sky Sports.

The game will be key in Arsenal's quest to win the Premier League title for the first time in 19 years. However, Chelsea will be looking to finishing their season on a high with a victory over the Gunners.
