Clubs in the premier league seem to have their eyes set on securing an European ticket qualification in the 2022/2023 club football season as it has been confirmed that another head coach of a top club has been sacked today, Monday, February 6, 2023 following a poor run of form in the league.

Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has been relieved of his duties at the club following the poor run of form of the side since he took over from the former head coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Jesse Marsch who had managed Leeds United since he took over in February 2022 has failed to meet the expectations of the board from all indications as Leeds United are currently above the relegation water on goal difference at number 17.

His sack was confirmed in an official statement released by Leeds United which read:

Leeds United can confirm head coach Jesse Marsch has been relieved of his duties. Jesse joined the club in February 2022 and was instrumental in keeping the club in the Premier League on the final day of last season.

Rene Maric, Cameron Toshack and Pierre Barrieu will also leave the club. We would like to thank Jesse and his backroom staff for their efforts and wish them well for the future. The process of appointing a new head coach is underway and we will continue to keep supporters up to date throughout the coming days."
