Here Is Why Barcelona Wants To Sell Raphinha This Summer

Football fans worldwide have been stunned by the recent news coming out of Spain as it indicates that Barcelona is set to sell Raphinha.

It seems as though the newly formed relationship between Barcelona and Raphinha does not seem to be going well, as reports indicate that the Brazilian is currently up for sale. This came as a big surprise to many following how much effort the Spanish giants had put in to secure the signature of the former Leeds United and Brazilian winger.

Raphinha had cost Barcelona over 55 million pounds in the transfer window at the beginning of the 2022/2023 season, and the player who had been bought seemed to have not lived up to expectations.

Reports have indicated that Barcelona would listen to offers for Raphinha because the player has not been impressive all season and has been relegated to starting off the bench by french star Dembele who also plays the same position as the Brazilian.

The winger has only scored 5 goals for Barcelona in the 2022/2023 season and has only managed 2 assists in the same season as well. This is abysmal compared to the 13 goals and 7 assists Demebele alone has made in the 2022/2023 season.

Raphinha having game time at Barca had been a huge concern when the deal was being finalized following the new contract handed to Dembele, and it seems as though these concerns were valid as the Spanish giants are searching for an alternative at this time.
