The Grammy Award winner expressed his displeasure at the organizers of his headline show.

Nigerian iconic singer, songwriter, and performer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has called out the organizer of his headline show in Lagos.

The African colossus, who has sold out iconic venues such as Madison Square GardenState Farm Arena, and a slew of other venues around the world and would be headlining at least three stadium shows in 2023, recently announced that he would kick off the new year with an homecoming performance in Lagos.

The event, which was slated to start by 6 p.m. Nigerian time on January 1, 2022, did not see the African Giant climb the stage as of 3 a.m. Nigerian time on January 2, 2022. According to a video shared by fans, Burna Boy, who had not performed at that time, took the mic and decided to rant on how the organizers messed up the sound, claiming that such occurrences are the reason why he doesn't like to perform in Nigeria.
