Manchester United Release New Statement On Ronaldo's Interview

Manchester United has released an official statement following the full release of the Cristiano Ronaldo interview with Piers Morgan.

English Premier League giants Manchester United have released a second statement following the full release of the 90 minutes interview Cristiano Ronaldo held with journalist Piers Morgan.

In the first and initial statement shared by the Red Devils when snippets of the interview had been shared, the club confirmed their awareness of the interview but wouldn't make a further statement till the full details of the interview had been revealed. The Devils also reiterated that the focus of the club was on how the second half of the season would go as well as player development.

The statement read:

Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo. The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established. Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff, and fans.

Following the release of the full interview, Manchester United has confirmed that the next steps are currently being taken and would not make any further comments.

The statement read:

Manchester United has this morning initiated appropriate steps in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent media interview.

We will not be making further comment until this process reaches its conclusion.
