Wilfred Ndidi has reacted to reports and rumours of him allegedly faking an injury to leave the Super Eagles camp.
Super Eagles of Nigeria and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reacted to the reports and stories of him allegedly faking an injury to leave the Super Eagles camp to return back to the UK.
The reports had alleged that the midfielder had refused to play the center back position which led to him being out of the squad on injury and on his way back to England.
Suliaman Folarin had reported:
Sources on Ndidi injury: Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro wants to play Wilfred Ndidi at centerback against #Algeria. Ndidi is upset about this. He wants to play in the midfield. Next thing, Ndidi has an undisclosed injury, out of the squad and returns to #England.
This prompted Wilfred Ndidi to respond in a tweet that also read:
