The manager of Everton Football Club, Frank Lampard has broken silence on the rumour linking Anthony Gordon to Chelsea.

The former Chelsea manager was speaking at a press conference ahead of the Merseyside's club match against Brentford at the London stadium. Lampard confirmed that Gordon is part of the club's squad ahead of the match day 4 game on Saturday, August 27th, 2022.
Lampard confirmed that Chelsea has not submitted a new bid for the player and he remains a player of Everton. He also said that Gordon is a key part of his team going into the rest of the season.
They have not bid £60m also, new proposal hasn't come in. He remains our player. He's in the squad for tomorrow. He's a huge player for us, not only a big value but more importantly to the squad. He’s an Everton boy.
There is no reports coming from Chelsea after they had their £40 million bid rejected by Everton.
